Margie Lewitt, LCSW
Margie Lewitt, LCSW, works as an adolescent therapist at Safe Connections, a trauma counseling center in St. Louis, where she delivers dialectical behavior therapy services to survivors of rape, abuse, and bullying. She is the teaching assistant for a graduate course on death and dying at Washington University in St. Louis. Margie co-directed “Foster Dance,” a creative movement program for female adolescents in the foster care system, for six years. She also has a background in dance and uses expressive movement as a therapeutic tool in her work with children and adolescents.
