Keri Bowers is a filmmaker that has worked with disabilities and the expressive arts for over 25 years. Her work has included facilitation and design of summer and winter camps, community-based social and life skill groups, and a variety of art-based social/life skills workshops. Keri’s own child has special needs, which combined with her work, provides her with a unique perspective. In 1999 she created the nonprofit PAUSE4kids to offer support to special needs families in southern CA. In 2005 Keri co-founded a film company that produces educational films about autism. Several magazines have included Keri’s work, and she has published a book, Single Pregnancy, Single Parenting.
