Jane Ferris Richardson, EdD, ATR-BC, RPT-S, LMHC, is a core faculty member at Lesley University. Her private practice specializes in children with special needs. Jane's research into expressive languages for children with autism has led her to collaboration nationally and internationally. She has worked with Reggio Emilia ideas for many years and took part in an international study group on children with special rights in Reggio. Jane's research focuses on the connections between art and play in therapy and children's development. She has published and presented her work on autism, art and play therapies, and the importance of using multiple languages for expression.
