David A. Crenshaw, PhD, ABPP, RPT-S, is the clinical director of the Children's Home of Poughkeepsie and faculty associate at Johns Hopkins University. He is past president of the New York Association for Play Therapy, past president of the Hudson Valley Psychological Association, a board certified clinical psychologist, and a fellow of APA, and of the Division of Child and Adolescent Psychology. David is also a registered play therapy supervisor. David is the author or editor of a dozen books on play therapy, child trauma, and aggression in children. His latest book, co-edited with Cathy Malchiodi, is Creative Arts and Play Therapy with Attachment Problems.
