Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

ROOM 810

Family yoga therapy, integrated with art therapy and mood management, will be explored in this 80-minute session. The year-long treatment of a nine-year-old girl with ADD (inattentive type) also suffering from numerous medical conditions will be featured. This combined research paper-workshop-video presentation will include anecdotal and scientific data, illustrated by client artwork and verbal associations from treatment.  It will also identify the rationale for incorporating LifeForce Yoga Therapy in mood management. Participants will learn coherent breath regulation© techniques, pranayama (breath regulation), and mood management meditation mantras, in order to more fully understand the benefits of combining family yoga therapy with family art therapy.
