Moving with The Selves: Integrating Voice Dialogue & Dance Therapies

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

This experiential, daylong Master Class is designed to illuminate a myriad of ways to integrate movement and music in Voice Dialogue Therapy in both inpatient and outpatient settings. An introduction to Voice Dialogue and the Psychology of the Selves will be reviewed, followed by a series of exercises exploring movement and music approaches. Together, the group will explore 3 different types of music that support and enhance this work, including music created especially for the Dancing with the Selves process, and then explore self-created percussion music, as well as commercially available music. The Selves in Motion is powerfully experiential, designed to teach professionals how to enhance their therapeutic repertoire and develop new skills. No previous experience with dance therapy or Inner Voice Dialogue is required.
