Group therapy attempts to give individuals a safe and comfortable place where they can work out problems and emotional issues. Clients gain insight into their own thoughts and behavior, and offer suggestions and support to others. in this workshop participants will be introduce to some practical Expressive Arts techniques: The use of drawing, painting, movement, music, writing, story telling, poetry, play, drama and psychodrama with groups for children, adolescents and adults.

Jacob Kaminker, PhD

Jacob Kaminker, PhD, is core faculty and Program Director for the Depth Psychotherapy and Expressive Arts Therapy specializations at John F. Kennedy University in Berkeley, CA. He earned a BA in psychology and philosophy, with a minor in religion, from Rutgers College and an MA from Sonoma State University in depth psychology.
