Play Therapy Principles & Techniques with Teens and Adults

During this workshop, we will explore the principles of play therapy and how they can be applied to older clients. Participants will learn specific techniques of art and play that are more suitable to teens and adults in therapy. We will also discuss and model language to use when bridging from talk therapy to play and art modalities with clients.Through case example and experiential practice, participants will become more comfortable applying the use of their play therapy skills with nontraditional play therapy clients. This workshop will be most appropriate for those with some background in play therapy.
