Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

ROOM 712

Are you looking for a way to invigorate your expressive therapy repertoire? Certain action techniques borrowed from psychodrama can be used quite effectively in individual practice. Participants in this half-day workshop will receive grounding in the philosophy of action methods, experience the power of a few specific techniques, and practice skills they can take back with them to the office. Through discussion and experiential means, participants will learn about concretization, doubling, and role reversal, and will have the opportunity to brainstorm ways they can apply these techniques in their work with clients. Attention will also be paid to ethical considerations when using experiential methods.
