In this workshop, a heuristic study that integrated artmaking with existential, gestalt, and therapeutic dialogue will be discussed. Participants will learn how this method provides insight to dreams and self-growth. Techniques derived from qualitative research to understand dream symbols and imagery will be integrated with an art and writing experience. Theory and technique will assist clinicians in their work with clients, in their quest for personal growth, and as a method of self-care. Participants are encouraged to bring along a dream with which to work.
