Cultivating Lovingkindness and Compassion: Benefits for Expressive Therapists

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

ROOM 705

Expressive Therapists, like other mental health professionals—and their clients—can be stereotypically self-critical and judgmental. Learning ways to cultivate kindness and compassion, first for ourselves, and then for our clients, can bring serenity to the present moment, and extend into the clinical situation. In this workshop, participants are invited to explore expressive arts approaches that can promote lovingkindness toward self and others. There are no potential risks or prerequisites, just the willingness to combat burnout and enhance your daily life at home and in the office.
