Humor's Impact on Individuals & Group Process

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

ROOM 711

This 80-minute workshop aims to examine practical ways of understanding and using humor in our personal and professional lives. Positive humor can foster warmth and social bonding, while negative humor is often divisive. But the absence of humor altogether indicates a systematic blockage of communication. Participants will be introduced to the theoretical frameworks of humor, as well as learn how to inspire positive humor in both individual and group therapy settings.
