Can you ever forget to play? Play as a noun and as a verb takes on new meaning for both therapists and clients who were born between 1946 and 1964. The focus of this workshop is to re-engage understanding the dynamics of expressive therapy and play therapy as a form of communication and catharsis towards psychological re-integration. Whether through the making of toys, or the re-union of toys long forgotten or lost, this workshop explores the core of what makes us human. No prerequisite required. The potential risk is that you might actually find something that was lost, and now found.

Julia G. Byers, EdD, ATR-BC, LMHC, is currently the co-chair of the advanced professional certificate in play therapy and senior PhD advisor in interdisciplinary studies. She is also professor in expressive therapies at Lesley University.
