ROOM 213

Engaged Storytelling is increasingly being recognized as an effective approach for working with trauma, illness, stress, and in palliative care. Why and how does story transform and empower?  This day will feature a kaleidoscope of conversations, stories, short films, and other methods that will identify best practices for storytelling, particularly by therapists and in therapeutic situations. Expect a dazzling feast of imagery and metaphor, rich with sharing and discovery. There will be time allotted for participants to “take the stage” as well.
