This all-day Master Class will introduce a novel way that clients can use their mobile devices to foster in-the-moment awareness. Cell phone and tablet photography can also facilitate improved communication and introspection; the practice of taking meaningful snapshots can help individuals broaden their perspectives on life and self. Participants will learn the principles of contemplative photography in addition to a variety of at-home and on-the-go photography assignments. The presenter will also demonstrate how combining smart phone photography with journaling techniques can enhance the creative healing process, helping clients suffering from depression or poor self-image with a unique opportunity for transformation. Participants are asked to bring their own phone or digital tablet to partake in this experiential Master Class.
