Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

ROOM 714

This half-day workshop will review iPad applications created by General Electric (GE Healthcare) specifically for uses in expressive arts therapies, and their impact on treatment and care for persons affected by neurological disorders. Participants will learn how to access and effectively utilize GE's cutting-edge art, music, and movement applications for the use of persons living with Alzheimer's, Parkinson's and related dementias. Additionally, other art therapist-facilitated interventions for community-based arts facilities will be discussed, as well as methods for identifying cognitive symptomatic changes—via creative interventions—for clients experiencing memory loss.
