Group Music Therapy-Based Mindfulness Techniques: Clinical Tools & Self-Care

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

ROOM 711

Music therapy and mindfulness groups help those who engage in them cultivate self-awareness, empathy, and confidence. This process also provides a forum for self-expression, experimentation, and mutual celebration. From the energetic release of group rhythm-gathering exercises to contemplative instrument playing and meditation, those who participate in this workshop will have the opportunity to experience these benefits for themselves. Additionally, it will provide them with a task structure and theoretical framework that they can apply in their own practices.
